KAA Gent en Djurgårdens IF hebben op voorspraak van de Gentse politie een regeling uitgewerkt voor de Europese wedstrijd van donderdagavond. Beide clubs willen hierover graag de supporters informeren, zodat alles op een veilige manier kan verlopen.
Zoals bekend heeft KAA Gent 1.000 tickets toegewezen aan Djurgårdens voor het bezoekersvak, en 200 categorie 1-tickets voor vak 326. Dit werd eerder ook zo gecommuniceerd. Toch willen club en politie voorbereid zijn op de mogelijke komst van Zweedse supporters zonder ticket.
In dat verband zullen vakken 325, 326 en 327 niet toegankelijk zijn voor Gent-supporters. Deze supporters zijn gecontacteerd en krijgen een andere (en betere) plaats op Tribune 3. Vak 325 blijft sowieso volledig leeg en zal - afgebakend door stewards - als buffervak dienen. Ook op de promenade zullen beide supporterskampen door extra maatregelen volledig van elkaar gescheiden zijn. Voor vak 423 werden geen losse tickets verkocht, enkel houders van een Europees abonnement kunnen er hun plaats innemen. Dat zorgt er ook voor dat supporters van Gent in Tribune 4 dichter bij elkaar zullen zitten.
Vakken 326 en 327 zullen worden gebruikt om eventuele Zweedse fans in onder te brengen die zich op wedstrijddag alsnog zouden aandienen, hoewel dit ten zeerste afgeraden werd en wordt. Djurgårdens zal verantwoordelijk zijn voor de selectie en registratie van deze supporters. Voorts zal de politie instaan voor een veilige in- en uitstroom in het stadion. Fans van Djurgårdens zullen met bussen vanuit het centrum naar het stadion gebracht worden.
Zowel KAA Gent en Djurgårdens roepen hun fans op om de wedstrijd in een goeie sfeer te laten verlopen. Beide clubs danken alvast de fans om alle maatregelen te respecteren.

KAA Gent and Djurgårdens IF have worked out some arrangements for Thursday night's European match based upon the recommendation of the Gent police. Both clubs are keen to inform supporters about this, so that everything can proceed in a safe manner.
As known, KAA Gent has allocated 1,000 tickets to Djurgårdens for the visitors' section, and 200 category 1 tickets for section 326. This was previously communicated as such. Nevertheless, club and police want to be prepared for the possible arrival of Swedish fans without tickets.
In that context, sections 325, 326 and 327 will not be accessible to Gent supporters. These supporters have been contacted and will be given another (and better) place in Stand 3. Section 325 will remain completely empty and - demarcated by stewards - will serve as a buffer section. Also on the promenade, both supporters' camps will be completely separated by additional measures. Section 423 will also remain empty. This will also ensure that Gent supporters in Stand 4 will sit closer together.
Sections 326 and 327 will be used to house any Swedish fans who might still show up on matchday, although this was and is strongly discouraged. Djurgårdens will be responsible for the selection and registration of these supporters. Furthermore, the police will ensure safe entry and exit at the stadium. Fans of Djurgårdens will be brought to the stadium by buses from the city centre.
Both KAA Gent and Djurgårdens call on their fans to ensure a good atmosphere during the match. Both clubs thank the fans in advance to respect all measures.
