To celebrate, The FA want to recognise every football team (club and international) who has played at the Stadium since its redevelopment in 2007, it is over 160 teams in total. In acknowledgement and a show of gratitude, one evening next week The FA will be lighting up the stadium’s arch in the colours of every team and also displaying the KAA Gent crest and name on the outer LED screen.
"Good morning,
I’m writing on behalf of The Football Association to inform you that next Friday (19 May) marks the 10th year anniversary of the opening of the new Wembley Stadium.
As a participating team at Wembley in the last 10 years, we will be including you in these celebrations and wanted to make you aware of the activity in advance, so you could prepare accordingly.
We will be conducting photography and will next week provide you with a photograph of the stadium displaying the KAA Gent colours and crest on the outer screen and a press release explaining more. We’d warmly welcome you to display this across your channels on Friday 19 May as a mark of celebration.
Any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Thanks,
Jeremy"
